Objective of the project:
- Value Chain Development
- Development of remote service channels
Duration: December 2017 – June 2018
Partners: Agrohorizont, USAID
Expected results:
SpotOn Consulting Bank is starting work with Bai Tushum Bank and the USAID Agro Horizon project to facilitate access to farmers’ financial resources. The company aims to develop joint steps aimed at introducing innovative approaches to financing. One of these will be value chain lending. Spoton Consulting has significant experience in introducing such preferential financing for farmers. Together with partners: Kaindy Kant, Talas Sut and Ozon Ata factories, value chains were successfully implemented in the dairy and sugar beet processing segment.
The project will cover Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken and Naryn regions. The positive experience in implementing this joint project will give a significant impetus to the development of the agricultural processing sector, and will also contribute to the further development of remote services for the population through an electronic wallet, increasing the level of financial involvement of farmers in the country.
