On the prospects and opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses

Our company was pre-qualified at the EBRD and now has the opportunity to help private enterprises receive grant support in developing a business plan, strategy, conducting an information campaign, research, and developing value chain financing.

Criteria for considering companies to participate in the EBRD Small Business Consultancy Program:

∙ Size: enterprises with more than 10 and less than 250 employees, with an annual turnover of at least 50,000 euros and not more than 50 million euros.

∙ Ownership: private enterprises owned by local citizens. The share of local founders cannot be less than 51% (the exception is companies established by citizens of the countries of operations of the EBRD).

∙ Sector: enterprises from almost every sector of the economy, except those engaged in financial services, military activities or the production of weapons, tobacco or gambling, and activities that pollute the environment.

∙ Ethical principles: companies must comply with high ethical standards of doing business and not have a bad reputation.

∙ Obligations: high interest of company management, real need for consulting support and presence of growth potential.
